About Carolina House Bed & Breakfast:

This home is in the National Register of Historic Homes and is furnished with many antiques. Built in 1880, renovated in 1997 and opened as a bed & breakfast in 1998. From the moment you step in the front door you can imagine yourself back in time with the high ceilings as part of the yesteryear. We have 4 rooms. All are spacious (1 of which is a suite). Each room has a TV/VCR. Our rooms with comfort in mind for the guest have air condition and are decorated with both antiques and contemporary furnishings. Many of the antiques have been in the family for decades.

Toni and Peter Oser are your hosts. Both have enjoyed many stays in Pension mit Fruehstueck (Bed & Breakfasts). Our bed & breakfast is the perfect place to let us pass on to you good service as we have experienced during our travels.

A full breakfast by candlelight is served while also enjoying the sound of soft music. Our breakfast is served between 7:00 and 9:00am (you pick the time even if you want to eat earlier than 7:00) we're flexible.

When you are not enjoying the comfort of your own guest room you can relax in our parlor on a late 1800 sofa. While conversing with other guests or do nothing. Reading material is available or enjoy a game of chess with our 16 piece pewter characters.

Gourmet Breakfast Served

Possible meals include:

or another delicious creation by our "Chef" and our Main Dish could be Omelets or one of our speciality Toast, or if you have special dietary needs or don't eat certain foods please just tell us and we will accommodate your desires.

To get away and relax come visit us. Stroll the tree lined streets of this Historic Town which offers a magnificent view of life long ago or just sit on a bench by the river and watch the sail boats, kayak or motor boats go by. Visit the North Carolina Estuarium where the river meets the sea an interest to all ages. The Estuarium is only moments away from the Carolina House B&B and exhibits SCIENCE, NATURE, ART, AND HISTORY.

A short drive can take you to a golf course or a state park where you can go hiking, bird watching or journey on down the road to Bath the oldest town in North Carolina or catch a short ferry ride over to Aurora and visit the Fossil Museum.

Smoking is allowed on both the front and back porch. Ice Bucket with Bottled Water is provided for each room. Snacks and Complimentary Non-Alcoholic drinks are available at your request.
